Open sources

VeraVadis draws from a curated source inventory maintained internally by our team. Every source carries a tier and a role -- metadata about provenance, never a truth verdict. No source is automatically evidence.

Tiers

Tier 1 (T1) marks factual-baseline wire services (e.g. Reuters, AP, AFP, EFE, Bloomberg, Financial Times) whose primary role is fast, sourced factual reporting. Tier 2 (T2) marks major national and regional outlets, policy and defense analysts, public broadcasters and think tanks, each with its own editorial stance, still useful, weighted accordingly.

Categories we monitor

Global wire services, US and western media, European media, Latin American media, Venezuelan media, Middle East and Global South media, Eurasia/China/Russia media, defense and security analysis, think tanks and policy institutes, human-rights and democracy organizations, energy-markets coverage, monitored YouTube channels, and official/institutional sources.

What a tier does not mean

A T1 tag does not make any specific claim true. It sets a starting weight for corroboration counting -- every claim is still checked against independent sources before it is treated as convergent evidence.

Exclusions

Some sources are excluded or deferred from ingestion for known reliability or safety reasons. That exclusion list is maintained internally and is itself reviewed, not permanent by default.
